Cancellation Policy

Time zone: All deadlines are in Africa/Casablanca (Morocco local time).
MarHire connects travelers with local partners. MarHire applies the standard 48-hour policy below to all categories unless a stricter non-refundable rate is explicitly chosen on the listing.
1) Standard 48-hour policy (applies to all categories)
Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before the scheduled start or pickup time.
If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the pickup time or in case of a no-show, no refund will be issued. The full amount paid, whether partial or total, becomes non-refundable .
Date and time changes are free if requested more than 48 hours before the pickup time and if the same car or category is available. If the requested car or category is no longer available, the rental price may change according to current availability and rates.

Your request counts from the time we acknowledge it (auto-reply or agent message).
3) Refunds
Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used during booking. Depending on your bank or card provider, refunds are typically processed within 3 to 14 business days after approval.
We handle all refunds according to the terms below:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before pickup:
Eligible for a full refund of the amount paid online, minus a small processing fee (typically 5%) to cover transaction and administrative costs.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup or in case of a no-show:
No refund will be issued. The full amount paid online becomes non-refundable.
4) Documentation & ID
If required documents are missing at start (e.g., valid driver’s licence/ID/credit card for car rentals), the booking will be refused and treated as a late cancellation/no-show and becomes non-refundable.
5) Force majeure & unsafe conditions
Suppose service delivery is impossible or unsafe due to events beyond your or the partner’s control (e.g., severe weather/port closure, road closure, natural disaster, strike, civil authority orders). In that case, you may choose a free reschedule or a full refund. For weather-dependent services (boats/activities), the operator or captain decides in line with local safety rules.
6) Peak seasons, groups & special terms
During peak seasons, holidays, or for group/charter bookings, a listing may offer non-refundable or stricter terms. If you select such a rate, those terms apply and override the standard policy.
